Who we are?

The Division for the Protection of the sea (from DGSCM-MITECO), is in charge of the Marine Strategy framework Directive, Marine Spatial Planning Directive, Natura 2000 and other obligations related to marine protection, as well as the focal point for the Regional Seas Conventions of OSPAR and Barcelona.
